Yus, Sufi & I went to Singapore Expo for

Being the star-karat us, we arrived quite late
and Ustad was already in the middle of his selawat & zikir.

Hearing the melodous rythm of the zikirullah, Sufi dozed away..

while the rest of the jemaah stood up in ovation for Prophet Rasullah's birthday.

I Want To Stay Home!

The 16 weeks of maternity leave has ended and I will be starting work this coming Monday.

The luxury of waking up late, having short naps, surfing net, reading, going out shopping.

Whoaaa!..
I would love to be a SAHM -(Who doesn't?)

Four months being away from office is a very long time for any working people.
This 16 weeks at home, I did a LOT of "sideline work" for referral clients.

And also used this time to better my cooking skills, spend more time with my kids, catch up on blogging and update my wardobe (read: shop for new clothes.)

Speaking of shopping, I spend AGAIN yesterday when I hit United Square.
The intention was to get Sufi's eczema cream from Aglow.

But after that, I melencong and shopped till err...the last few dollars (!!!!)

Seriously, been quite some time since I shopped for their clothes...-Ade je aku.

The Circumcision of Sufi Yushairy

Last Wednesday, I decided to get Sufi circumcised at the age of 3mths old.

I thought I should have get it done earlier but at that time, it didn't crossed my mind as I realised I had been busy with working from home.

As I will be going back to office very soon, I thought it would be better to get him sunat faster so that I can save the hassle of taking long leave and nursing him if I were to get it done when he is older.

Seeing his tender bird being cut and hearing his cries of pain, at that moment,
I regretted my selfish decision.
Sufi's eyes was in tears and I felt sorry that he had to go through all this now.

Its already the fifth day after he was circumcised and alhamdulillah..so far so good.
His bird is recovering well and hopefully by the 8th day,
that plastic-bell thing will drop out from his tuuuuuut.

Now, I do not regret getting him sunat earlier.

I'm glad that I did it now than later, for at least when he is older, he will not remember the pain that he felt.

The girls were at their Nyai's house.
So, Yus & I took the chance to catch a movie. We went to Kallang Leisure Park to watch >

He was initially curious and scared at the loud sound effect. I had to leave the cinema when his "uwek-uwek" became louder and shoving his mouth with the susu tetek doesn't seems to pacify him.
But after 3mins cradling him outside, he slept thoughout the movie.
Selamaat!

The movie is gooooooood- I love it. + the hero is boyishly CUTE!

After the movie, we went to Changi Road to have supper.

On the eve of CNY

Toa Payoh Lorong 8 was where I studied for my kindergarten and later on to primary school.

Most of my childhood days were in that town and till now, my heart still feel close to Toa Payoh. It is where I grew up and have fond memories with my beloved grandmother.

20years later...
the very same house where arwah nenek used to live is still there and well maintained by my 1st Uncle. Everything remains the same, except for the exterior where many upgradings has taken place.

One of the upgradings that had been done is the additional utility room, located just next to the toilet..which has turn out to be >>

...My uncle's walk-in-wardrobe.

This is the kitchen. Still the same although lesser things.
Most of the stuffs which arwah nenek use to keep (containers, vintage plates, cups, bottles..have been either given or thrown away.)

This was originally rented from PUB back then.

It's our Atok's Birthday today!

Right after we came back home from school, we got ourselves ready to go to Woodlands.

When we reached Nyai's house (quite late..9++pm), we saw ..

The old man is 50 years old already.

As always, we get to blow the candles on the cake a couple of times and made them sing birthday song a few times.

Then Icha turn.

After the meal, Atok unwrapped our presents .

And we hope he liked it. :)

My Milk is (not) Acid.

"It's not milk rash...It's eczema", said Dr Ong.
In that instance, I kinda feel relieved yet empathatic with Sufi's condition.
Relieved that at last, the "susu tetek case" is finally acquited -All along, I thought his facial rashes was due to my milk.

So, until next Friday, I am gonna monitor his condition with the prescribed cream.
Hopefully, his skin will improve.

If not, I have to make my way down to Aglow Clinic again.

I have been busy...- busy making money- Alhamdulillah.

Everyday is hectic.
Juggling work, housechores, a breastfed baby and
2 bickering toddlers , I hardly have time for myself.

I'm planning for another getaway this March..nothing extravagant.
Just to the East of Malaysia.

Langkawi, maybe.

Officially, my maternity leave will ends on the 2nd week of Feb. But exactly which date, I don't know. Hmm..Maybe I'll just go back office on Mon, 1 Feb 2010..

Icha turns 2 years old!!

When I woke up in the morning, I saw 1 big bag filled with party favors goodies to be given out to my school mates later.
Wahh!!

It's my birthday -So exciting!!

Mak: "Cha! How old are you?'
Me: "Two!!".

After maghrib, we had a simple celebration at home.
Mak bought me a mini cake which I know is just for the sake of blowing candles.
As usual, kakak & I get to blow candles for about 4 or 5 times and made the whole family sing birthday song repeatedly for that 4 or 5 times!! LOL!

Oh, and I heard, Nyai is planning a dinner out this coming Sunday.
Yeay!

At Vivo today, I spent $400 in a day..which is a rare occasion cos I think the last time I shopped this much was probably like a year ago.

Most of the purchases were for Nanie & Icha, and just a couple of sandals for myself which were on a very good bargain from Tangs.

At Toys R' Us, I bought Icha's birthday present and another complimentary gift for the elder as well- because I can foresee the sisters fighting over it if I were to buy for only one.

My shopping frenzy became gila when I stepped into Mothercare and then to Gap.
Wheee!..new clothes for them for the coming Raya!!

The sisters will be back home later from their Bedok Gran's house.
I can't wait to see my Chuckybarbie.
Last I saw them was on Thursday morning.

I hope, the elder one didn't turn into a spoiltbrat again after spending 2 nights there...

Nanie & Icha to Skool..

It's the weekend again. This time, the girls are at Bedok pulak -..(ikut giliran)

The 2nd maid is long gone...Long story but I'll cut short.
I had sent her back on 3rd June and reported her to the police for child abuse.
Poor Icha.
-I don't really know what that woman had exactly done as Yus & I were out to work.
When I came back and had a shower together with Icha,
I discovered her body having several blue black bruises..some sort like she was pinched reeeeally hard.

Anyway, both Nanie and Icha now are doing well in childcare.
Much better when they were in the care of maids.
I don't think I will hire another maid anymore.

As for this 3rd baby,..I'm sourcing for an infant care centre whose fees are affordable. But in my hometown, all the centres that I have inquired are of bombastic prices. Hmm...
Macam mana eh..

Ok , I got to get ready now. Going Vivo to shop for Icha's brithday present.

Been a long time

Whoa..Been such a while since I last blog!!!

Work is occupying most of my time now and I don't have much spare time to blog as often as I used to.

My free time now are reserved for bonding with Icha & Nanie and yea..not forgeting Yus.
I don't even have time to shop and my collection of tops and tudungs are all getting a bit passe.

Right now, the girls are at Woodlands & Yus is currently glued to his PS3 at this moment.
So........at lasaaaast-
I finally have time to update this dusty blog of mine.

I am 30 weeks pregnant & baby is alhamdulillah fine, frequently kicking & moving.
I am still able to fast and so far there's no problem with it. I could have skip fasting but I'd rather not, considering that I still have to 'pay-back' and I would rather fast with the rest of the Muslims now than fast later.

Last night, I have, more or less thought of the 3rd's baby name.
Due to the fact that Yus & I have decided not to find out the gender of our 3rd child, I have already standby 1 girl's name & 1 boy's name.
Standard procedure..the names which I have think of are both starting with letters'Yu...". Just like..Yuana & Yurisha & Yunie & Yusri..LOL! -Macam best gitu kan.

And everytime I visit my gynae for checkup, she would always get very excited about me not knowing about the baby's gender..more excited than I am. - LOL!

Oklah..till now, I'll write again soon- Inshya Allah, maybe tomorrow IF... I'm not lazy.

Baby No. 3

This time, my pregancy is unlike my 2 previous ones.

Reasons:-
I swear & flare up easily,
I get overly upset over petty issue,
I will feel sick and nauseas whenever I'm hungry,
I get giddy spells often,
I experience backache a lot and
I get tired after about 3 mins of walk.

And I'm only just 15 weeks into my pregnancy..Yet, I feel like as if my new baby is 30 weeks old.

Before this, whenever I heard of fellow mums-to-be who always complained of feeling sick like body aching, vomitting, migraine and bla, bla, bla..my thought were that they are just weak people or maybe their body resistance level are low or maybe they were just too pampered.
Cos I didn't felt the same way when I was carrying Nanie or Icha back then, I sheepishly even thought that they were just exagerating.

But now that it has happened to me,I realised that not all pregnancy are the same.

God is fair.

Serve me right.

I have been so terribly busy & very very tired with the new job.

After last night's birthday celebration, we spent a night at Nyai's house as Mak has a wedding invitation.

It was her secondary school classmate's wedding day. This is her first wedding reception that she attended after so long because Mak keeps forgetting her friend's wedding invitations dates and she ended up not attending, after which she felt bad.

Anyway, here at Aunty Diana's wedding, we didn't get to meet her & the groom because when we arrived, the pair were off to the groom's reception (bertandang).

Five days after I sent the previous maid back to the agent, they called me and said that she has got a new employer.
I said, Ok good for her.

Yesterday, when I was at the agent's office to pick-up my new bibik, I casually asked about my ex-maid. To my surprise, they acted rather defensively and requested me not to mentioned about her.
I looked around the office and there she was, standing among the rest of the other maids.
Hai. Belum sebulan dgn new employer, dah kene reject lagi.

Anyway, enough said about that slenger, my current bibik is so far so good.
She is a mother of 2 young children herself. Which is a plus point because I can see, she knows how to win my ChuckyBarbie's heart and make them feel at ease.
I am also pleased that unlike my previous maid, she brought along all the essentials that every traveller would, like her own toiletries, slippers, towel etc..

Now, I realised that the my 1st maid was such a pampered b*tCh, expecting all these to be supplied to her. Wth.
(Shit, why can't I stop talking abt her.. Urgh. Irritating!)

The maid is gone. Thank God.
She would have been the death of me if I continued to have her.
No kidding.

I did said she's OK in my previous entry.
But that was only for the first few weeks.
Following the 2nd month, I started to get mad & madder with her and the only thing that kept me sane is my religion.

Now, I can really understand why we hear Maid being abused and beaten.
Sometimes, they ask for it.

Sigh!
Enough said, I shan't talk about them.
Else, I will become angry and when I become angry, I will feel very tired, and when I feel very tired, I will feel more worse and when I feel more worse, I will get more pissed and this cycle continues.

So, now the MIL is looking after Chucky & Barbie.

She insisted that it was my child who wish to go to go the hall or to the room. But I pointed to her that it was YOU who suggested to her to shift everytime I happen to be in the same room!!

The other day, I went to the 'Mama shop' when the shop owner related to me about his conversation with my ChuckyNanie.

My girl was there with her gran and as usual she would look-see-look-see at the titbits section, deciding on what to buy for herself.

The Chucky now likes to talk.
Her vocabs is expanding and Yus & I will try to introduce her to new words everyday.
She can also sing ABC now, but a bit "pelat" lah. She can also count from 1 to 10 too.

But she won't do it when told though. Maybe shy. (like real)
Only when Yus & I were doing our own things, she will talk & sing by herself, unknowing that her Mak is actually listening.

As for Icha. She has become my stalker, always following me wherever I go.
To the toilet, to the kitchen, to the bedroom. Nak berak pun tak senang. (!!!!)
Sometime that kecik can really get on my nerve.
But now, as I think back, kelakar seram pun ada.
Ahhh..Children.

I want to have another one more or two.
Would be really nice if it will be another 2 boys.
But if the husband is fated to be surrounded with all girls pun.. hmm orait jugak.

Yesterday, we were in the vehicle, talking about some old friends when our conversation was interrupted by Yus's handphone ringing. It was my Dad.

As he was driving, I answered the call. Icha was seated on my lap then. After the call, we continued talking until I noticed how obedient and quiet my Icha is for the last 5 mins. Usually, she will wriggle here and there, reaching for everything that she could grab hold off. Macam ULAT!!

I looked down at her.

"La Illahaillallah!!''.

At 2 years of age, my ChuckyNanie is now becoming more like.....
'mak-nenek!!'.
Once, I overheard her telling Icha: "Adik, a mo cry..kakak here."
Hehe!

Yus & I have also noticed how much she have grown. We both agreed that Nanie looks different now than 6 months ago. Whee!! Dah besar!!!

And it's nearly one mth plus, since Sari worked for us. So far, she is coping well in looking after the girls. Cuma bila nak part kasi tido je, she's not good.

But i can't blame her too because the ChuckyBarbie's sleeping pattern is a bit 'manja'.
- They want the caretaker to sleep next to them. Baru boleh tido peacefully.
I think, Bik Sari feels uneasy to sleep on her employer's bed.

Anyway, usually when I'm at work, once or twice I will call home to check on their well-being.
The moment, Sari picked up my call, she will said,"HaL-LO Buuuuu!!'

I slept over at Nenek's house last Friday with Icha & Bibik. Co-incidentally, Piee'e and his family was there too.
After Mak & Bapak came to pick us up on Sunday noon, we joined Piee'e & his folks to Changi Airport for jalan-jalan.

Mak's initial plan was actually to go to Hort Park to feed the koi fishes there.
Unfortunately, the weather was wet and Mak said we shall make a date there, some other time.

But hanging out at T3 was just as fun.

Buy TV day

This is a bit backdated. But nevertheless, here goes..

Last Sat, he fetched me at work and we had dinner at Mad Jack Cafe, Simpang Bedok.

Chucky & Barbie were at my in-laws place since friday night to spent their weekends there.
Ever since Bik Sari came & took over to look after my kids, we have agreed that we will send the girls including the maid to Bedok to bond with their Nenek & Atok, once every 2 weeks.
Likewise same goes to my Woodlands family.

I had to resort to this 'rule' to prevent future dispute considering that the Bedok family keep PEST-tering me, like some housefly which keep buzzing in my face, to send my Icha & Nanie there.
Sigh! Long story.

Anyway, we took the chance to go out on a date and catch up with lost times.
Because he always says I'm too busy with the kids till I have no time for him -Which is true.

After the dinner, we Maghrib first at a nearby mosque..

and headed to Courts Megastore to buy

another TV!!!

We chose a Samsung TV again.

which is to be paid by instalment, of course.

We are at Woodlands!

It's been a week since Bik Sari came into the family. My girls are slowly starting to be "OKAY' with her.
Whee!! Alhamdulillah.

Only Icha will occasionally cry for a more familiar face but at least the situation is much better than the previous days at my house.

I feel more positive here.
Though its not as comfortable as home, I can feel the indescribable difference.

I don't feel "suffocated' and so rimas!!

My maid is here.
Alhamdulillah, she seemed to know what she's doing and so far her performance and her work attitude is good.
She's very soft spoken and gentle with the girls. Even when the kids are screaming and yelling like monkeys gone crazy, Sari could still keep her sane intact.

Unfortunately, my Nanie & Icha still do NOT want her.

I have tried my best to let Sari get close with them, but the kids wouldn't stop crying until they got hold of their Mama.
Sigh! Super frustrating cos I end up doing everything for them.

Once, I purposely sneaked out of the house while they were busy playing and from the void deck, I could hear Nanie screaming her lungs out. Both Chucky & Barbie cried so hard that day till their voice became hoarse.

I'll be going back to work tomorrow and I hope things will get better day by day.
Very sad to see them cry but I believe this is for the better..Insha Allah.

The supposedly buffet spread was not the usual kind of buffet concept.
There was no buffet table but instead we had to order from a list of buffet menu which, we find this sooo leceh because we had to wait (mind you..20-30mins minutes long) for the food to be served.

But still,the food there is good..especially their french toast. Yum.Yum.
Maybe I should plan a day out for breakfast there with Yus someday...

19th September is the date when Yus & I will celebrate our anniversary of courtship. It's the date when we officially became boyfriend & girlfriend.

Now, exactly ten years later, we are now married with 2 children. How time flies..
I think, Yus & I remember more of this date than our wedding date!!

3rd week Ramadhan

It's the 3rd week of Ramadhan and syukur.. this year's Ramadhan has been a good one for me & family. Though I can't make time for terawih like I used to when I was single, I'm thankful that both Yus & I are trying to be a better Muslim now.
Alhamdullilah.

It's a once a year kind of thing to wake up at 4am to prepare sahur which surprisingly I don't find it a chore.
Berkat bulan puasa.

With another 10 days to go before Syawal greets us, I hear more Hari Raya songs being played on the radio. And somehow these festive songs just makes me delighted.

A long long day

Yesterday was a long, long day..

The father-in-law went berserk again. We were waiting for maghrib to break our fast there, when suddenly, his father starts throwing the crockery out of the kitchen window.
The tension was high. Instead of calming the old man down, they aggravate it further by attacking back physically & verbally at him.

And if by screaming and wailing her lungs out can ease the pain that she's feeling - I am appalled by that because it's unnecessary.

My kids have just witnessed the ugly side of their paternal folks.

It's sad.
I tried to understand the mind of this deranged old man. He craves for attention, love & respect from the spouse and his children. But unfortunately, none could be bothered.
To them, his mental unstability is due to his past brain-operation. Isit so? No. I don't think so.

I am tired. I hope the maid will come soon & hopefully she will be a good maid.

Back from KL

The shopping trip was enjoyable..I bought lotsa stuff for my home and my loved ones.

The hotel stay at Ancasa was also a pleasant one. It was my first time staying at the hotel and I like it.

Unlike most 5-star hotel toilets that have only toilet papers to clean yourself up, this hotel bathroom comes with those spray hose for "easy-cebok".
The room are also readily equipped with prayer mat, iron & ironing board. (You don't have to call room service to request..the items are all there in the room.)

The location is also good - nearby LRT station, lots of makan place, "Mydin" and Petaling Street is also just around the corner. :)

At the LRT Station, on the way to buy our 'Ayat'.

The shop is near Chow kit..and the "Ayat" there is super cheap. Can bargain some more.

I bought one big 'Ayat' for my home and one for Yana's bedroom. Total bill RM190. Cheap.

Waiting for the staff to finish packing our purchased frames.

Oh, And by the way..the hotel room TV offers channels like StarMovies, Cinemax, Disney Channel & Supersports too.
Bagus kan. Most KL hotels don't have such varieties.

This warung which is just next to the hotel sells seafoods and the usual Malay dish like Nasi Goreng, Mee Goreng..etc.
The foods are all sedaaaap. Trust me.

It's the 2nd day and I'm in the van on the way to LCCT.

AirAsia..Now Everyone can Fly :)

We arrived Singapore safely around 11am.
Due to the large "Ayat" and a handful of bags, we had to take a Maxicab home because all other Comfort cabs declined to take us in because of the load.

It's 2 weeks already & I'm still waiting for the maid agency to provide me with some good biodata for maid.

There was actually one that I like.
Her name is Yeni Yanuarti, Age 30, a widow with 1 young kid.
I wanted her. It fits my requirement..except that I would prefer the maid to be someone around my age.
Her name is Yeni. My name is Yunie. My husband is Yusri. My 2 girls pun have names starting with Y. Best kannn!!!

But too bad, she was booked by others first.
That kakak from the maid agency told me that I need to act faster if I want to booked for a particular maid, next time. Somehow, there's a lot of families who is also on the lookout for a maid. (!??!!?...Hmmm)

After that spritiual healing sesssion with the ustaz, Nanie is now more well-behaved and she's becoming more attached to me. Alhamdullilah.

The ustaz said that, there was apparently 'something' within me and that 'something' may have been disturbing my relationship with Nanie all along.
Nanie is only 2 years old. But in these 2 years, there were many times that she has hurt my feelings and made me cry. She just seemed rather odd whenever her nenek is around. She was always very cold towards me and is a totally different person.

Now, I'm thankful that Nanie is showing positive changes. And I realised now, I have been negelecting my duties as a Muslim. That may have caused those "ganguan" to easily come.

Yus didn't know any hoot about these. I didn't want him to know too. He will think I'm nuts. I used to think all these are bull too. But when it really happened to me, I believe.

Alhamdullillah, I got myself "healed" early. And I'm trying to improve myself to change for the better.
Uztaz words were right. "Di mana priority Allah in our life? Adakah di waktu susah sahaja kita ingat Allah? Di waktu senang kita lupa Allah? Check diri kita ini."

- I'm so pissed off cos I am really very the pantang kalau people act sweet in front and then, talk bad behind my back. Bloodyhell right.

Just receive a call from my mother in law..

The grandfather is at it again.- Throwing his temper, smashing things, shouting abusives and scaring the hell out of my little darlings Icha & Nanie.
She told me it all started out when Nanie was crying uncontrollably because of no apparant reason and refuse to be pacified. Nanie is like that whenever she's there.
I blame it on the over-pampering-syndrome from her grandmother. So, it's a bit too late to discipline her now.

I feel so helpless. I wish I can go back now and take away Nanie & Icha from there..but I can't. I have to work. I can't be taking urgent leave every bloody month..and all because of my in-laws family problem.
Now, I can't stop worrying and I hate this feeling.

Poor Icha and Nanie.

Long Time No Blog

It's been nearly 2 weeks since I last blog. As usual, forever busy.

Besides, Yus don't really like it if I spend my free time in front of the PC and not with him.
(I not only have 2 small girls, I have a big baby boy to take care of too..Hmmm.)

And here I am, in the office, stealing some time to update my blog.
Anyway, a recap of some things that has happened for the past few weeks :-

1) Yurisha now 'fight's back' whenever her sista bully her. Though wailing in tears, she will beat her sister back. And the sister surrenders.

2) Yuana is taller now. She's gonna be 2 years old this Sat. :) - How time flies.

3) The living room is going for a makeover soon. Have engaged a renovation contractor to fabricate a TV feature wall, to be completed before Hari Raya. Hopefully, all goes well.

Colleague : "Eh, Yunie..Ask u something?" (sniggering)

Yunie: What?

Colleague : "You pregnant ar?"

Yunie: NO LAH!! (Squinting my eyes at him) Are you trying to say that I'm fat?

Colleague : Eh, Sorry la. I thought you pregnant. Hehehe..

Yunie: (Muttering) Basket.

At least 10 people, including the husband, have asked me if I am pregnant?!!???.. Of course NOT. They've been mistaken by my weight gain for another pregnancy. AAAAAAHHH!!

5) Being the lazy bum that I am, I enrolled myself in a slimming treatment hoping to shed some kilos. Hopefully, it'll helps. Insha Allah.

6) My handphone is dead again.

For the past 1 year and a half, I have had 4 handphones. The first one dropped in the drainwater, the next replacement got lost in the train station, the 3rd one dropped in a toilet bowl, the 4th one spoiled by Yurisha's saliva.

Yus said, I should carry a public phone behind my back to solve the problem.

5) I'm planning of hiring a house maid to look after Yuana & Yurisha at home. I don't think I can tahan any longer with the MIL looking after them.

I'll talk about it in my future post soon.

6) Lastly, I'll be a year older tomorrow, 25th July. So....err...presents anyone??

He would have been 26 today.

The abang whom I had given the cold shoulder in all my teenage years.
The abang whom I have always ignored and acted as strangers whenever we bumped into each other on the street.
I am not really sure why we kept away from each other, the moment we entered secondary school.
Maybe because we did not really maintain a good relationship ever since our childhood days ??

But maybe it was just me who drew the line. Just maybe.

I wish I would have been more friendlier & nicer to him.
I wish I had not kept my distant from him.
I wish I could be his best buddy.
I could have pulled him to attend uztad's lesson together but I did not.
I could have shown him that I care but I did not.

I guess, it is human nature to take things for granted. Abang's departure hit me hard to treasure every relationship.

As a mother now, I always remind my girl to sayang and take care of each other. They may not understand my point now. Insha Allah, I hope they will be the best sisters forever.

I just don't want the same situation to happen to them like what me & late abang did.

Semoga Allah lapangkanlah kuburnya dan jadikanlah kuburnya satu taman dari taman-taman syurga. Dan bukan satu lubang dari lubang api neraka.

A Walk down Orchard Road

It's our family day today!

Bapak didn't have his usual soccer game with his work pals and this means, I finally get to go out with him. It has been sometimes since I last go jalan with Bapak.. Hehe!

Just as Mak and Bapak were preparing stuff to go out, we were greeted by Atok & Bibik at the front door. Pleasant surprise!! Apparently, they had dropped by my place first before fecthing Nyai because the time was still early.
Anyway Bibik wanted to go to town too and they took Adik with them.

So, it's left with just me and my darling parents.
We headed to Forum Mall as Mak wanted to pick up Adik's photos from Kidspictures. Unfortunately, the shop closed early on weekends -(Bummer - Baru ingat nak tengok gambar Icha)

And so we strolled down Orchard Road ....

As much as I would like to mind my own business, I can't help but feel disturbed of youngsters nowadays, particularly of those which are of the same community.

I wont't deny that I used to be naughty during my late teens. But not to the extent of revealing to friends in the world wide web about personal things like .........sex.

It's disgusting that they are not ashamed nor do they feel remorsed. But they feel proud and superior.

Kesian...not to them..But to their parents.

Sigh.. It's so ..sad. So Scary ..to think of the coming generations.

Happy 3yrs Wedding Anniversary

11th June marks three years of my marriage with Yus..We didn't really planned for a lavish celebration. Just a simple dinner at a humble coffeeshop in town where we had always frequent, during our courtship period.
I'm just as happy that he made effort to be a great partner and a good father after these 3 years.

Life after marriage has made me into a more mature person. Both of us are "kepala-angin-punye-orang". Things can get pretty ugly when either one of us are pissed.
There were times when I felt that he's a bloody jerk and wish that he would vanished into thin air. But there were also moments when I felt thankful of having him around. So, I guess, everyone (including me) has it own plus points and weak ones.

Thank you to Yana, Ayah & Cik Ana who had wished me "Happy Wedding Anniversary". I didn't expect them to remember actually - I'm delighted that they did :) Thanks!

Barney Live in Singapore!!

At 2-something in the afternoon, Atok came to fetch us and we headed to Nyai's workplace to pick her up.

By the time, we arrived at the event hall, the place was packed with kids my age, some older.
The concert started punctually at 3.30pm and the show was really super-dee-duper!!

The show is great but the seating arrangement was unfortunately not.
We had the front row but at the extreme left side, which wasn't really good because the stage was stricly limited to the center of the hall.

Nevertheless, I still enjoyed myself watching Barney show live!!

Bonding with Nanie

Mak is on MC today.

The day before, I had overheard her grumbling to Bapak of not getting enough sleep because of having to wake up at 3am to breastfeed Adik. And then later at 4am cos I had cried for milk. I couldn't get to sleep till 5.45am later and poor Mak was so frustrated abt it cos she had to wake up at 6.30am to get ready for work.

Anyway, last night, Adik stayed over at Nyai's place while I slept over at Nenek's house.. Maybe because Mak wanted to rest.

She came to fetch me earlier this afternoon and brought me to town to jalan-jalan...Just the two of us..

We went to a place where there were many shops selling very nice fabrics. She bought some kain for herself, me & Adik to make into baju kurung for the coming Hari Raya.

After that, we walked over to the nearby shopping centre and headed for the toy's section!! I like!

"Astaghfirullah hal azim!!! Yuuuusssssss!!", I screamed.
Nanie had tripped over her toy ,fell forward and her face hit the TV display cabinet...hard.

Her father who was seated on the sofa rushed to carry her up. Nanie was crying uncontrollably. The impact was so bad -her nose bridge was swollen and blue. There was a deep cut and blood was flowing non-stop. Yus & I tried to be strong for her as we both felt like crying seeing her wailing in pain. Kesian dia.

Her face is so kemek. Now, everytime I looked at Nanie, I wish I am the one having the swollen face ...and not her. Luckliy, she didn't hit her eyes. Otherwise, God knows what could have happened.

The Movie Date

While the kids slept over at Ibu's house...

I went to catch 'Ayat-Ayat Cinta' at the nearby suburban mall.
It's a beautiful story of a love tale that also has bits and pieces of dialogues that explains and guide the Non-Muslims about the misconceptions in Islam. It also serves a reminder to Muslim (like me) about other good values that we sometimes take for granted.

Some of the situations really touches my heart that I cried..especially the scene when Maria's mom and Aisha cried and hugged outside the hospital room. Sedih sekali. Sob,Sob.

:) Citer dia baguuuss. A classic love story. And Im falling in love with the soundtrack 'Ayat-Ayat Cinta' by Rossa. Very the feeling.

P/S: Oh ya. Cartwright is sooooooo pretty too!!!

This morning, Atok & Nyai brought us to Geylang Serai. The intention was to send Atok's car for service at the nearby car workshop. And while waiting for the car to be ready, we headed to TKC for Nyai's favourite pastime..Shopping!

My Chucky has a split personality..Ya..she is a great pretender and a wannabe award-winning actress. Reaaaaally!!

She becomes a monster kid the moment she meets her nenek. I can see a BIGGGG difference with her behaviour when her nenek is around and when is not k.
Nanie is actually a well-behaved sister & is truly an easy-going child.

That's why I hate it when every morning I drop her off at at her Nenek's house, her character changes to a different person.

She will cry & cry, throw tantrums, throw things, make a mess, demand this, want that...in other word..a SPOILT brat. She will insist on her Nenek and only want Nenek and totally refuse me at all. She will NOT want to kiss me or say goodbye when I leave for work. Now, she won't even allow me to carry her adik.

And the nenek will just layan her, pacify her, pampered her as if her actions are right. EEEEEE!!...Feddddup aku!!

Occasionally, I will just snapped and end up being harsh towards Nanie, which I will regret after that.
I have thought of placing her in a childcare but Yus was against the idea cos he thinks I'm trying to separate Nanie from his mum. Like urgghhhh!!

Ibu requested to send Chucky & Barbie to Wdls, after work today as she was on half day urgent leave to attend some "parent-teacher meeting" at Yana's sch, and so, plan to take my 2 girls out jalan-jalan during the weekends tomorrow.

When we reach Ibu's hse, she was still stucked at the school for the so-called "parent-teacher meeting". As it was already around 8.30pm, I thought the event would end before 9pm..and so we decided to drove to Yana's sch to join her.
We waited at the school compound but the talk was still not done yet. So, we waited & waited in the car until 10pm..
Sigh! Merepek kan buat talk sampai malam-malam. Ape saje je..Waste of time. Principle syok sendiri.
Dahlah skolah dia bnyk pokok, semak samun sana sini..lampu pun lokek nak bukak. Serabai.

Singapore Flyer

Last Sat, Adik & I went to the Singapore Flyer with mak and the usual gang - Nyai, Atok & Bibik. The overall ride was not as scary at it looks..can't really feel it moving and before I knew it, we were at the peak. I guess, the purpose of this Singapore Flyer thing is to showcase the scenery of the upcoming IR and the F1 race.
But for now, the view is still beatiful..We even get to see all those HDB flats in Potong Pasir, Marine Parade, Toa Payoh from atop and afar.
