Kak Husna gave birth to a baby girl today!!
I specially ordered a diaper cake from BabyTiara. But as I was busy with spring cleaning the house, Yus helped to deliver the cake to her at the hospital.
He said, mine was the most prettiest gift among all.

"Iftar at Tong Shui Cafe"
Iftar @ Tong Shui's Cafe, Changi Aiport Terminal 2...
The supposedly buffet spread was not the usual kind of buffet concept.
There was no buffet table but instead we had to order from a list of buffet menu which, we find this sooo leceh because we had to wait (mind you..20-30mins minutes long) for the food to be served.
But still,the food there is good..especially their french toast. Yum.Yum.
Maybe I should plan a day out for breakfast there with Yus someday...

"Since 19 Sep 1998.."
19th September is the date when Yus & I will celebrate our anniversary of courtship. It's the date when we officially became boyfriend & girlfriend.
Now, exactly ten years later, we are now married with 2 children. How time flies..
I think, Yus & I remember more of this date than our wedding date!!
When I recall back how we met, I can't help but to smile.
We gotta know each other :- (you guess?)

(c) at A&W where I worked part-time during sch vacation.

He was alone then, and so was I. As he entered the MRT train, he chose to sit beside me even though the rest of the seats were mostly unoccupied.
Mischevious was he, he suddnely gestured at me if I want to listen to his discman. (Very the tak tahu malu).
I ignored. But he said "Lagu baik la..betok taknak dgr?".
Hahaha! Crazy.
Anyway, now once a while, we would talk about it and laugh. :0)

"3rd week Ramadhan"
It's the 3rd week of Ramadhan and syukur.. this year's Ramadhan has been a good one for me & family. Though I can't make time for terawih like I used to when I was single, I'm thankful that both Yus & I are trying to be a better Muslim now.
Alhamdullilah.
It's a once a year kind of thing to wake up at 4am to prepare sahur which surprisingly I don't find it a chore.
Berkat bulan puasa.
With another 10 days to go before Syawal greets us, I hear more Hari Raya songs being played on the radio. And somehow these festive songs just makes me delighted.
Not sure with you all but macam best gitu kan dengar lagu raya. :)

"She's One!!"
Icha's birthday is tomorrow and I have yet to buy her presents.
Ibu: "Nak belikan Icha ape eh? Belikan toys nanti, Nanie berebut plak."
Me: "Mmmmm.. Ibu belikan la..macam jewellery gelang ke, anting-anting ke..yang boleh pakai punye."
(Boleh gituk eh..mintak mintak orang present..Haha! Bertuah punye emak)

Yesterday was a long, long day..
The father-in-law went berserk again. We were waiting for maghrib to break our fast there, when suddenly, his father starts throwing the crockery out of the kitchen window.
The tension was high. Instead of calming the old man down, they aggravate it further by attacking back physically & verbally at him.
And if by screaming and wailing her lungs out can ease the pain that she's feeling - I am appalled by that because it's unnecessary.
My kids have just witnessed the ugly side of their paternal folks.
It's sad.
I tried to understand the mind of this deranged old man. He craves for attention, love & respect from the spouse and his children. But unfortunately, none could be bothered.
To them, his mental unstability is due to his past brain-operation. Isit so? No. I don't think so.
I am tired. I hope the maid will come soon & hopefully she will be a good maid.
